To build and run your website, generate your drafts, provide support, process billing, send service emails from hello@venturebilt.com, and to improve the platform and the AI features behind it. We also reference finished public websites in our portfolio and marketing. Section 5 of the Terms of Use sets out the license this relies on.
We do not sell your data. We do not rent lists and we do not share your information with advertisers. Your final public website is, of course, public.
Trusted infrastructure providers process data on our behalf — hosting, content delivery, email delivery, payment processing, and artificial-intelligence providers — each under their own security and privacy obligations. We share information beyond that only if the law requires it.
AI features specifically. When you use Ask OE™ or another assisted feature, the instructions you type, the content of the page you are working on, and any file you attach are sent to a third-party AI provider that processes them on our behalf and returns a result. We select providers whose terms commit them to confidentiality and to not using our clients' content to train their own public models. Don't put confidential, privileged, health, or payment card information into these features — see Section 5 of the Terms of Use.
If your website collects inquiries from your customers, those submissions belong to you and are delivered to you. You're responsible for how your business uses your customers' information.
Credentials are stored hashed, never in plain text; sessions are signed; and access to client data is restricted to what operating the service requires. We keep your data while your account is active. If you cancel, ask at hello@venturebilt.com and we'll export your content and delete your stored data, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
